Evidence and Safety Disclaimer

The information on this page is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, a prescription, a clinical recommendation, or a recommendation to buy, sell, obtain, compound, inject, ingest, import, or use any peptide, drug, supplement, biologic, research chemical, or health-related product. Always consult a licensed health professional before making any health decisions.

Our Evidence Level and Safety Level labels are educational summaries based on publicly available information. They are intended to help users understand the general maturity of available research and regulatory review for a peptide or peptide-related compound. They are not medical determinations, regulatory approvals, safety certifications, effectiveness claims, or substitutes for advice from a licensed healthcare professional.

Evidence Level

The Evidence Level reflects the amount and quality of publicly available research associated with a peptide. External labels may include Low Evidence, Medium Evidence, or High Evidence.

Evidence Level may consider factors such as published clinical research, human trial availability, clinical trial phase, peer-reviewed publication history, study size, consistency of findings, whether the research applies to the use case shown, and whether a peptide or peptide-based product has undergone regulatory-grade review.

A High Evidence label does not mean the peptide is proven effective for you, appropriate for your health status, legal for your intended use, or approved for the use shown. A Low Evidence label does not necessarily mean the peptide is ineffective. It may mean that limited public clinical data, limited human data, or limited regulatory information is available.

Drug evidence is typically evaluated through a staged development process involving preclinical research, phased human clinical trials, and regulatory review, where regulators assess data on safety and effectiveness for specific intended uses (FDA, “Development & Approval Process: Drugs”).

Safety Level

The Safety Level reflects the apparent maturity of publicly available safety and regulatory information associated with a peptide. External labels may include Low Safety, Medium Safety, or High Safety.

Safety Level may consider factors such as whether a specific peptide-based drug product has been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, European Medicines Agency, or another recognized medical regulator; whether human safety data exists; whether post-market monitoring exists; whether adverse-event information has been published; and whether reputable clinical or governmental bodies have evaluated the product or compound.

A High Safety label does not mean the peptide is risk-free, safe for every person, safe at every dose, safe from every source, safe through every route of administration, or appropriate for your intended use. Even approved drugs can have side effects, contraindications, interactions, and risks. FDA approval means a specific product has been reviewed for a specific intended use, formulation, dose, route, population, and labeling. It does not mean all versions, sources, compounded forms, off-label uses, research-chemical versions, or non-approved uses of that peptide are approved or safe (FDA, “Understanding Unapproved Use of Approved Drugs ‘Off Label’”).

A Medium Safety or Low Safety label means there may be limited human safety data, limited regulatory review, limited public monitoring, unresolved safety questions, or no approval for the use shown. It should not be interpreted as permission, clearance, or encouragement to use the peptide.

Regulatory Status

Any mention of FDA approval, EMA approval, clinical testing, investigational status, or regulatory review applies only to the specific product, formulation, indication, population, manufacturer, dosage form, route of administration, and labeling reviewed by the relevant authority. It does not apply to unapproved versions, compounded products, gray-market products, research chemicals, cosmetic uses, wellness uses, off-label uses, non-medical uses, or products from unverified sellers.

The FDA has stated that, with limited exceptions, new human drugs and biological products must be approved before they are marketed, offered for sale, or shipped in interstate commerce, and that approval requires demonstrating safety and effectiveness for the intended use and manufacturing quality standards (FDA, “Is It Really ‘FDA Approved’?”).

No Medical Advice or Personal Recommendation

Nothing on this page should be used to start, stop, change, combine, or evaluate any medication, supplement, peptide, injection, treatment, or health protocol. This app does not know your complete medical history, lab results, diagnoses, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, risk factors, or physician recommendations.

You should always consult a licensed physician, pharmacist, or qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decision, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, have a medical condition, take prescription medication, have a history of hormone-sensitive conditions, immune conditions, cardiovascular issues, cancer, psychiatric conditions, liver or kidney disease, or are considering any injectable, prescription-only, experimental, or non-approved substance.

No Sales, Sourcing, Prescribing, or Verification

We do not sell peptides, prescribe peptides, provide dosing instructions, recommend suppliers, verify third-party sellers, facilitate transactions, provide compounding instructions, or guarantee the identity, legality, purity, sterility, concentration, stability, quality, safety, or effectiveness of any peptide or peptide-related product.

We do not endorse any third-party product, clinic, pharmacy, seller, manufacturer, research-chemical supplier, compounding provider, marketplace, or medical protocol. Any decision to obtain or use a peptide is made independently by the user and should be made only with appropriate licensed medical supervision.

No Guarantee of Accuracy or Completeness

We aim to present information from reputable public sources, but medical and regulatory information can change. Research may be incomplete, outdated, conflicting, misinterpreted, unpublished, or not applicable to your circumstances. Regulatory status may vary by country, product, indication, formulation, and route of administration.

The Evidence Level and Safety Level are not guarantees of accuracy, completeness, legality, safety, effectiveness, or personal suitability. They are simplified educational labels and should not be relied on as the sole basis for any health decision.
