Compounded drugs and peptide-related products may involve regulatory and safety risks. The FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. The FDA has also identified safety concerns for certain compounded peptide substances, including limited human safety data, impurity risks, immunogenicity concerns, and serious reported adverse events for some substances.

5. Sharing Information

We may share limited information with service providers who help us operate the App, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, crash-reporting tools, authentication providers, database providers, customer support tools, payment processors, or infrastructure vendors. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

6. HIPAA Notice

Gleam is a consumer app and is not intended to be a healthcare provider, health plan, healthcare clearinghouse, or business associate of a HIPAA-covered entity unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

Information you enter into Gleam may not be protected by HIPAA. However, we still treat health-related information as sensitive and protect it according to this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

HHS guidance explains that whether a health app developer is subject to HIPAA depends on the specific relationship between the developer, the user, and any covered entity or business associate involved.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information and health-related tracking information for as long as needed to provide the App, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support security or operational needs.

You may delete certain entries, images, notes, or saved data from within the App where available.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by using in-app controls or contacting hello@auralabs.capital.

After deletion, some information may remain in backups, logs, security records, legal records, transaction records, or other systems for a limited period where necessary for legitimate business, security, compliance, or legal purposes.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and health-related information. These may include encryption, secure servers, access controls, authentication, and monitoring.

We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for controlling access to your device.

We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate feature usage, app performance, crashes, and user experience.

We do not use personal health-related information, medication entries, peptide entries, dosage details, uploaded images, or private notes for third-party advertising or model training.

If we use de-identified or aggregated data to improve the App, we will take reasonable steps designed to prevent that data from identifying you.
